Wood Stabilizing: Injecting/impregnating wood with resin to make it more durable, less prone to cracking or movement.

That is the basic definition of what it means to stabilize wood. There is a lot of science behind the act of stabilizing, but we will just stick to the basics in this post. There are many different techniques and methods, but I will share what I have done and what has worked for me. I am always open to suggestions as well to further enhance the process so please leave a comment if you see anything worth noting.
